Had the pleasure of fishing with Ron and Art last night. Met them at Long Bay Point at 8:30 and we hit Lynnhaven for about a half hour and Ron landed a nice fat striper. It is great seeing him out on the water again and he is putting his talents back to good use. We then made the long run over to the 4thisland where Ron caught loads of croakers and had a nice red drum right at the side of the boat before he decided he wanted to be back on the bottom. We then fished out off of the 4th Island and Art and I started dredging for stripers while Ron kicked back and enjoyed the evening with some beverages. Did not take long to hook up and we caught several in the 15 to 20 lb range. Fished until about 3:00 and headed home. A great night with great friends, doesn't get much better.
